How USDT top-ups work

5 min read

Author: Tuckpay

A Tuckpay top-up always starts with a USDT transfer to the top-up address.

What happens to the transfer

After sending, the funds wait for network confirmations. Once confirmed, the amount is converted into the card currency and lands on the balance.

The fee

The top-up fee has a fixed part and a percentage — both differ per card and are shown on the pricing page.

The fee comes out of the transfer, so the balance receives less than you sent.

Common mistakes

  • sending on a network that does not match the top-up address;
  • an amount below the minimum for that card;
  • trying to top up from a bank account — only crypto is supported.

How often you can top up

Top-ups are repeatable: only the size of a single transfer is limited, not the number of them.
